About the Service
At Elite Style Polyclinic, our Lumecca treatment offers a safe and effective solution for vascular lesions such as spider veins, rosacea-related redness, cherry angiomas, and broken capillaries. Using FDA-approved technologies like Lumecca IPL alongside advanced lasers (e.g., Pulsed Dye Laser, Nd:YAG), we precisely target blood vessels without damaging surrounding skin, restoring a clear, even complexion with minimal discomfort and no downtime.
How Lumecca Treatment Works
Step 1: Consultation & Diagnosis
First, we assess the type of lesion (e.g., facial telangiectasia, leg veins) and evaluate your skin sensitivity.
Additionally, dermoscopy or vascular imaging is used to accurately map the treatment areas.
Step 2: Customized Treatment
Laser Therapy: Heat selectively collapses abnormal vessels (1–3 sessions).
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL): For diffuse redness or small veins.
Sclerotherapy (for larger leg veins): Injectable solution to dissolve vessels.
Step 3: Aftercare & Results
Following treatment, temporary redness or swelling can occur, typically lasting 24 to 48 hours.
To optimize healing, sun avoidance and gentle skincare are essential.
Ideal Candidates for Lumecca Treatment
- Facial Redness/Rosacea – Diffuse flushing or visible capillaries.
- Spider Veins – On legs, nose, or cheeks.
- Cherry Angiomas – Harmless but bothersome red moles.
- Post-Injury Vascular Marks – From trauma or surgery.
- All Skin Types – Safe for darker tones (with Nd:YAG laser).
Note: Varicose veins require specialized medical intervention—we’ll refer you if needed.

have a question?
Quick answers to questions you may have
Q1: Does it hurt?
A: Generally, most patients feel only a mild snap, similar to a rubber band flick. However, if you prefer, a numbing cream can be applied to increase comfort during the procedure.
Q2: How many sessions are needed?
A: Typically, 1–3 sessions are sufficient for treating small lesions. On the other hand, larger areas like rosacea often require 3–5 sessions to achieve optimal results.
Q3: Are results permanent?
A: Treated vessels usually do not return; nevertheless, new vessels might form over time. Therefore, occasional maintenance treatments are recommended to keep your skin clear.
Q4: Can I wear makeup after?
A: Yes, makeup can be applied after 24 hours. It is advisable to use mineral-based makeup to protect your skin during the healing process.
Q5: Why choose laser over creams?
A: While topical creams might temporarily reduce redness, laser treatments such as Lumecca work by eliminating blood vessels at the structural level. Consequently, they offer much longer-lasting and effective results.
