About the Service
Forma is a cutting-edge, non-surgical radiofrequency (RF) treatment designed to combat the signs of aging by tightening skin, reducing wrinkles, and improving overall skin texture for a smoother, more radiant appearance. Suitable for both the face and body, Forma utilizes bipolar radiofrequency energy to gently heat the deeper layers of the skin. This process stimulates natural collagen production, remodels the dermal layers, and encourages tissue contraction, resulting in firmer, more youthful-looking skin without invasive procedures or downtime. It effectively targets common areas of concern such as the forehead, crow’s feet, eyelids, nasolabial folds, jowls, smile lines, neck, arms, and abdomen.
How Forma Treatment Works
Step 1: Consultation & Assessment
Your practitioner will discuss your aesthetic goals and assess the target areas to determine suitability for Forma treatment.
Step 2: Preparation
The skin in the treatment area will be cleansed. A conductive gel may be applied to facilitate smooth movement of the handpiece.
Step 3: Radiofrequency Application
A specialized handpiece delivering controlled bipolar RF energy is glided over the skin. You will feel a comfortable warming sensation as the device heats the subcutaneous tissue to the optimal temperature for collagen stimulation and contraction. Treatment times vary depending on the area(s) treated, typically ranging from 30-60 minutes.
Step 4: Post-Treatment
Mild redness in the treated area is common but typically subsides within a few hours. There is no downtime required; you can resume your daily activities immediately.
Step 5: Results & Collagen Building
Some immediate tightening may be noticeable. However, the primary results develop gradually over the following weeks and months as the body produces new collagen, leading to improved skin firmness, elasticity, and wrinkle reduction. A series of treatments is usually recommended for optimal, long-lasting outcomes.
